Objavljenje nominacije za Oskara: "Hugo" i "Umetnik" dominiraju

Osim filmova "Hugo" i "Umetnik", u konkurenciji za Najbolji film našli su se i Spilbergov "Ratni konj", Milerova "Formula uspeha", kanski pobednik "Drvo života” Terensa Malika, "Ponoć u Parizu", drama Tejta Tejlora "Služavke", kao i "Jako glasno i neverovatno blizu" Stivena Daldrija.

Meril Strip, koja je do sada dva puta osvojila Oskara, postavila je rekord kao glumica sa najviše nominacija - čak 17. Ovog puta je nominovana za ulogu Margaret Tačer u filmu "Čelična ledi". U kategoriji Najbolja glavna glumica našle su se i Glen Klouz (Albert Nobbs), Vajola Dejvis (Služavke), Runi Mara (Muškarci koji mrze žene) i Mišel Vilijams (Moja nedelja sa Merilin).

U konkurenciji za Najboljeg glavnog glumca borba će biti oštra jer su se tu našli: Demijan Bišir (Bolji život), Džordž Kluni (Potomci), Žan Dižarden (Umetnik), Geri Oldman (Dečko, dama, kralj, špijun) i Bred Pit (Formula uspeha).

Rediteljski debi Anđeline Džoli "U zemlji krvi i meda" nije ušao u najuži izbor za najbolji strani film, dok naš "Montevideo, Bog te video" se nije našao ni u širem izboru.
